Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Oasis Within, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Wellness and coordination service—not medical care

Oasis Within provides personal reflection, journaling, mood awareness, optional AI tools, user-directed therapist collaboration and scheduling, invitation-only groups, and an optional public positive-post community. Seleqt Group LLC is not a healthcare provider, therapy practice, medical practice, medical device, diagnostic service, treatment service, or emergency service. Using the platform does not create a clinician-patient, therapist-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship with Seleqt Group LLC.

3. Emergencies, crisis, and physical safety

Do not use Oasis Within to seek emergency help. The service is not continuously monitored and cannot guarantee detection or response to crisis language, medical events, abusive conduct, or harmful public content before it is viewed. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911 or seek appropriate emergency assistance.

4. Accounts, roles, and verification

You must provide accurate information, protect login credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Role selection does not itself establish professional qualifications. Therapists may be required to submit credentials for administrative review, but verification is not a guarantee of suitability, current standing, insurance, quality, outcomes, or lawful practice in every location.

5. User content and sharing choices

You retain ownership of journal entries, messages, comments, appointment notes, public posts, media, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, encrypt, process, display, transmit, and back up that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and fulfill your requests.

You are responsible for the content you submit and the sharing controls you select. Do not submit unlawful content, malicious code, content that infringes another person’s rights, or information you are not authorized to use.

Shared Within groups

Shared Within groups are invitation-only and adults-only in this release. Group confidentiality by other members cannot be guaranteed. Do not share content you would not want another member to retain or repeat. A therapist’s group participation or ownership is not clinical monitoring, does not itself create a therapist-client relationship, and does not expand access to private journals or care information.

You must follow the Shared Within Community Guidelines. We may remove content and restrict groups or accounts for harassment, threats, exploitation, discrimination, spam, illegal material, sexual exploitation, impersonation, unauthorized disclosure, or other safety and policy violations.

Oasis Uplift

Oasis Uplift is an optional adults-only public feed for short positive posts. A unique public handle is required. Posts, media, comments, appreciations, reshares, and follows may be visible to other eligible users. Do not publish private, confidential, infringing, exploitative, deceptive, or harmful content. Your private journal is not published automatically.

We may limit distribution, remove content, suspend public features, or restrict accounts when needed for safety, law, or policy enforcement. Popularity signals do not represent endorsement, accuracy, or professional advice. Users may report, mute, block, and unfollow.

6. AI-generated content

AI features are optional and may generate inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, biased, or inappropriate content. AI output is not medical, mental-health, legal, or other professional advice and must be independently evaluated. Do not rely on AI output for diagnosis, treatment, medication, emergency action, or another high-stakes decision.

You may not use AI features to generate harmful or unlawful instructions, impersonate a professional, violate another person’s rights, or bypass safeguards.

7. Therapist connections, communication, and scheduling

Connected-care features may allow a user and an independently responsible therapist to share selected information, communicate, set focus items, and coordinate appointments. Therapists are not employees or agents of Seleqt Group LLC unless expressly stated otherwise. We do not guarantee therapist availability, licensure, suitability, response time, appointment acceptance, emergency response, or clinical outcomes.

Appointment availability, reminders, time-zone display, calendar sync, location information, cancellation rules, and billing status are coordination tools. Users and therapists remain responsible for confirming appointment details. Calendar or push reminders may be delayed, suppressed, duplicated, or unavailable; do not rely on them as the only record of an appointment.

8. Public community safety and moderation

Public-community tools cannot guarantee that every post is accurate, appropriate, positive, or reviewed before display. You are responsible for what you publish and how you interact. Report urgent safety or policy concerns through the in-app tools, and use block or mute controls when appropriate.

9. Fees, subscriptions, and payment services

Certain features may require payment, a subscription, a trial, or complimentary access. Prices, billing intervals, trial terms, renewal terms, cancellation options, and feature availability will be presented where applicable. Payments may be processed by Stripe, Apple, or another provider and are also governed by that provider’s terms. Except where required by law or stated otherwise, fees are nonrefundable.

10. Privacy, security, and encrypted content

We use safeguards described in the Privacy Policy, including application-layer encryption at rest for specified care content. This is not end-to-end encryption because authorized service functions may decrypt content after access checks to provide requested functionality. You must use reasonable device and account security and understand that no system is perfectly secure.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with security, access another person’s account or data, scrape or reverse engineer protected portions, upload malware, overwhelm the service, falsify professional credentials, exploit a care relationship, or use Oasis Within for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or dangerous conduct.

12. Reports, blocks, and moderation

Users may have tools to report content or block another person. We may review reports, preserve relevant records, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other reasonable action. These tools are not emergency channels and do not guarantee a particular outcome or response time.

13. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, account types, prices, integrations, or access. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, security, technical issues, provider outages, app-store rules, or circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or preservation of every item of content.

14. App stores and third-party services

Your use may also be subject to Apple App Store, TestFlight, Stripe, calendar, email, notification, AI-provider, and other third-party terms. Third parties are responsible for their products and practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

15. Intellectual property

Oasis Within, its logo, software, interface, branding, exercise-library content created by us, and original content are owned by Seleqt Group LLC or its licensors and protected by applicable law. Except for your own content and rights expressly granted in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.

16. Termination

You may stop using the service and may request account deletion through available tools or support. We may suspend or terminate access for security risk, material violation, unlawful or dangerous conduct, credential misrepresentation, nonpayment, or discontinuation of the service.

17. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, professional suitability, accuracy, availability, and results. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions may not apply to you.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seleqt Group LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data or profits; injury arising from exercise or equipment; reliance on AI or professional content; delayed professional responses; missed appointments or reminders; or inability to access the service. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you paid nothing, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue and dispute-resolution provisions should be confirmed with legal counsel before public launch.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
